| Introduction | ||
| ConRec ("Continuous Recorder") is a program that records audio on your Windows computer. It can also log what is playing for certain programs. It records in WAV format, and optionally auto-converts to MP3 after each recording. ConPlay plays back WAV and MP3 files, and uses the log file to display the program information. ConPlay can also save individual clips, either as WAV or MP3. ConRec and ConPlay are freeware. | ||

Disclaimer |
||
|
ConRec is freeware. If you pay for it, you're
getting ripped off. You can skip the rest of this stuff if you want,
but don't complain about it later.
No warranties are expressed or implied. If you're not willing to risk your hard getting inadvertently formatted, do not download ConRec. I believe it is safe, but without thorough testing anything can happen, and usually does. ConRec is a work in progress, and probably always will be. Once it does what I want, I reserve the right to simply abandon all development and maintenance. I will probably release the source code at some point, but probably not until it has somewhat evolved. The user interface is subject to drastic change, especially the recorder. |
